Fisheries reports

River Ivel Twin Bridges

There have been reports of good bags of Roach and chub from this venue. There is a lot of weed in the river, but find a clear swim and the fishing can be good.

There have also been reports of more Barbel seen in this stretch.

London Colney

First report this season from the big pit (Saturday 28th June) Two Tench the best was 3 1/2lb and 5 Bream to 4 1/2lb.

The small lake is fishing extremely well since the restocking in the close season. With weights of 90lb Bream & Tench (pellet &corn )another report was of 6 Carp to 10lb, 5 Tench to 5lb, on meat and pellet, there was also a report of a 16lb Carp. It would seem that 20lb bags are not uncommon.

Good reports are still coming in from the small lake, one member had 19 Bream between 3-31/2lb.

The big lake is also fishing well 9 Bream between 3-31/2lb 4 double figure Carp and a 7lb Tench, another member had 2 tench 3lb and 4lb two Bream 31/2lb each and a 5lb Carp

This fishery is fishing very well with Tench, Bream and Roach all being caught, 30 to 40lb bags of fish are not uncommon
